The man was found by the Greencastle Coastguard UNit who contacted Malin Head Radio station to task the rescue helicopter form Sligo to the remote area.Only yesterday a Dutch tourist also had to be airlifted to hospital after hurting her ankle at the same location.A spokesman for Malin Head Coastguard, who co-ordinated both rescue missions, appealed to people to take extra care while out walking in the good weather.“These two incidents show how such a simply walk along the coastline still poses a certain element of danger. “We would ask people to be careful and to take a mobile phone with them where possible in case they do encounter any injury.“We would ask people not to take any risks while walking and to let people know where they are going,” said the spokesman.   PUBLIC WARNED TO BE CAREFUL AFTER SECOND RESCUE MISSION IN TWO DAYS was last modified: May 29th, 2013 by StephenShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:Malin Headrescuewalkerslast_img
