WebsiteWebsiteWebsite WebsiteWebsiteWebsite center_img Having entered CCBSA’s (Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa) recycling programme last year, St Chad’s Primary School saw its recycling committee being victorious in the recycling competition against various schools in and around KwaZulu-Natal.Learners, together with teachers, embark on a recycling spree during which they collect tins, glass, paper and plastic around the community of St Chad’s.A judging panel from CCBSA’s Community Development Programme visited the school yesterday (September 21), where an adjudication on the litter collection was held.The panel was impressed when they discovered that the school had built a recycling hub where all the collected litter is stored.“In a period of 20 years working for CCBSA and being manager for community development projects, particularly the recycling programme, I have never witnessed a school that went the extra mile in actually building a hub,” stated CCBSA Community Development Project Manager Masilo Molebatsi.last_img
